Kite Residences

After six fantastic days in other parts of Mexico, our stay at Kite residence was the part we want to forget as soon as possible. We booked one apartment for 9 people, including kids, based on the listing, but without telling us first, Kite put us in two apartments far apart. Both were near a construction site, so there was awful noise and dust covering everything around us. The owner was impolite and just said we could leave, even though it was impossible to find suitable accommodation at such short notice. Tulum has plenty of wonderful resorts. Stay away from Kite residence.

I managed 3 apartments with over 3 rooms for three clients, and every one of them ran into trouble with the building management. We had problems too as a management company. There’s also a construction site right next door. In short, I wouldn’t recommend working with them or renting a property there, whether you’re a long-term or short-term broker.

The apartment itself wasn’t too bad, but it was dusty from the construction nearby. There was noise during the day and sometimes at night from parties. With building work going from 7am to 6pm, sleeping was impossible. The owner was rude and unprofessional. I really wouldn’t recommend it.

We had to move out because our vacation turned into a nightmare. It was impossible to relax or sleep, with construction noise all day and loud music at night. There was no peace or respect. Avoid that place!
