Ku Kuk Glamping

The dome smelled nice, the linens were good, and the bed was soft and comfortable. The idea is great, but it needs more cleaning and upkeep. Once I was in bed, I could see mold and dirt all over the ceiling and inside the dome. The hot tub was slimy and dirty, and really needs to be cleaned, disinfected, and wiped down. There’s no front desk. I emailed the property manager through vrbo and waited two days for a reply. I called the number on google, and a woman answered and told us to look for a Jose. Jose came from somewhere across the street and spoke Spanish only. The area is pretty secluded, but there’s no extra security for the domes at night and the front gate is always open. Your DOme is only secured with a lock and key. Be ready for spiders 🕷.

The domes are thoughtfully designed, and the staff are nice. This is a lovely oasis in the organized jungle. Ending each day in the jacuzzi was the best part of our trip.

The owner was really helpful. It’s a place to relax, but there isn’t anything else to do, and it’s far from both the beach and town.
