The beach was the highlight of our four-night stay at LUV. The water was warm, clean, and sandy, much nicer than beaches I've visited elsewhere along the Riviera. Any seaweed was raked away early, and we always had a beach chair, plus shaded chairs on our deck. My husband and I loved our oceanfront bungalow. We could hear the waves as we fell asleep and again in the morning, and the room was nicely decorated and cleaned meticulously each day, with fresh, dry towels and no sand annoyance. Breakfast was included, fresh, healthy, and had plenty of choices. The staff were pleasant and helpful from our first contact through checkout, especially Arturo. The hotel is far enough from the party area of the hotel zone that noise wasn't an issue. We loved our relaxing trip and would absolutely return.

We spent my birthday weekend at Luv Tulum, and it was the most restful break we've had in years. It's a small place, about 16 rooms, so it feels private and never crowded. The beach is pristine, the food was delicious, and the whole property is gorgeous. I loved how the design works with the surroundings, from the palapa roofs and wood to the lime concrete and windows. You hear the ocean and waves, while nearby resorts have crowded beaches and loud electronic music. Luv feels quiet, safe, and thoughtfully built without trying to destroy the land around it. The people made the stay too. Arturo was helpful and communicative, Angel, aka Angelo, was warm and attentive, and Jesus, Fernando, Mary, Jaime, and the rest of the team were lovely. Mary did a great job cleaning. Jose gave me the best massage ever. The guests were kind and respectful as well. A couple of practical things: the shower pressure is weak, and it took me a while to wash my thick, long, curly hair. It's a bit rustic, but that felt like a fair trade for being close to nature. There were no bug problems for us, but I wish the glass doors and windows had screens. The breeze is wonderful when they're open, though the mosquito nets block it, so we ended up keeping them shut and using the AC. It's also a relief to see a hotel built mindfully and sustainably. We had a great birthday stay and would love to come back. Muchas gracias por todo!

Right on the beach, this place felt like a peaceful haven in Tulum. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with typical Mayan-style accommodations. Breakfast came with the stay and was delicious. The staff were lovely and always ready to help with a smile. Arturo took especially good care of us. A real gem!

In the morning, the security guard returned the credit card we'd accidentally dropped by the car after getting back late at night. I'm really grateful for that. The staff were so friendly and ready to help, and the service was top-notch throughout. Our room was even nicer than the photos and better than we expected, and breakfast was delicious. We had an amazing stay in what felt like a little paradise. We'd love to come back.

Arturo welcomed us at check-in and immediately made us feel at home. The room was phenomenal, and staying there gave us a taste of the real Tulum. We got to know everyone by name, including Lily, our lovely cleaner. Angelo and Jaime looked after us with superb food and drinks, and we had great conversations with them. An unforgettable stay, we'll definitely be back.
