Mezzanine by La Zebra, an SLH Hotel

The food was delicious, and each meal seemed thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The Mezzanine has free WiFi, and I’d recommend renting an ATV or scooter to get around. The intimate atmosphere made for a relaxing, memorable stay, with unbeatable beachfront access, soft sand and beautiful ocean views just steps away. Sunrise walks and quiet evenings by the water were lovely. David and Orquidia were amazing, and the staff were incredible. It felt like a glimpse of paradise and an unforgettable experience.

The stairs around the hotel felt a little sketchy, so watch your step after dark. The views are gorgeous, and the staff are the sweetest, especially receptionist Jacqueline, who was so kind and helpful. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all amazing. Lunch is beachy local food, while dinner is Thai.

The view from my room was five-star all the way. I could watch both sunrise and sunset without getting out of bed, which felt like cheating in the best way. The hotel has a relaxed vibe, and service was friendly and attentive without hovering. The food was decent, but the menu was limited and I started running out of choices after a day or two. It’s a solid place with a knockout view and laid-back feel. I’d rate it a high three or low four out of five, mostly for the scenery rather than the food.
