I found the entrance a bit hidden from the main road, so head toward the back where the sign is. Once inside, it’s a lovely place to work or unwind. There’s strong WiFi, plenty of tables and work areas, and a conference room for calls. The AC was welcome in Tulum, and the bathrooms were very clean. I came for happy hour and the margaritas were delicious, 100 MXN from 5-8pm. Josue was warm and attentive, and the modern interior and patio both have a beautiful, welcoming feel. Room prices also seemed reasonable next to downtown Tulum, with grocery stores and cafes just a short walk away. I’ll be back.

The free bikes and rooftop pool were such nice extras, and it was easy to walk to the beach, Aldea Zama, or Centro. The common spaces were fun and the food was great. I spent nearly three weeks here, and it made an ideal base in Tulum. Luisa, David, Freddie, Juan Carlos, Emilio, and Alan were helpful throughout, with good suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Everyone seemed to care about making my time here special, and they succeeded. I can’t wait to return.

The free bikes made getting around easy and fun, whether I was heading to the beach, restaurants in Aldea Zama, or into town. I also loved the pool area for relaxing after a day out. Moxy Hotel is brand new and modern, with a fun atmosphere. I had a great stay and would happily come back.

We had a great New Year’s stay. Check-in came with a welcome drink, our 4pm late checkout was approved without a problem, and breakfast was continental. Bonvoy status also got us a $10 USD per person per day voucher, which felt more than enough. The rooftop pool was lively with a DJ, and the restaurant food was excellent. There were free games in the lobby, and our two-queen room worked perfectly. I only wish it had a mini fridge. The decor inside and out was top notch, with comfortable patio furniture, lovely plants and landscaping, and plenty of good places to hang out. We could rent bikes for five hours for free. Banks, shops, a supermarket, and restaurants were close by. The national park was a ten-minute bike ride away, with beach clubs offering day access for a 600 MX per person minimum spend on the menu, including a great chair, towel, and umbrella. One day we biked to zamas Beach Hotel for breakfast. Some staff were new and still learning, but the management and team were great. I’d highly recommend this Moxy.

The drinks at the bar were so good, especially the St. Germain Spritz, which I highly recommend. The rooms were clean and excellent, and the decor felt comfortable. The location worked well, midway between downtown and the beaches, so either was a short bike or car ride away. Alan the manager, Alanpoot the bartender, Luisa, Emilio, Ingrid, and the rest of the staff were welcoming and provided fantastic service. If you’re staying in Tulum, especially as a Marriot member, check out the Moxy.
