The staff were really helpful and service minded. Thomas at breakfast gave great service, and breakfast was included and OK. For the price, it’s quite a good hotel. The rooms are good, with a safe and comfortable soft beds. The downside was a slight mold smell when the room had been closed all day or overnight. It also took about ten minutes for the shower water to get hot. Overall, I can recommend it.

The location suited us perfectly, right on the edge of the city with an easy jog, walk, bike ride, taxi, or colectivo trip to the beach. The rooftop pool and views were beautiful, though a few touchups would help. Our road-facing room was quiet, but we could faintly hear music from bars and clubs. Check-in was smooth, but we seemed to get slightly friendlier service when we spoke Spanish than English-speaking customers did. We got very little extra information, just the bare minimum to find the room. When we first entered, it smelled strongly of mold and damp and was quite hot. The AC was there but hadn’t been turned on. We managed the smell by leaving the window and door open all day for a draft, then shutting the bathroom door and turning on the AC when we got back. We saw an afternoon ad for 2x1 drinks and thought we’d use it for a final pool dip before sunset. It was misleading: margaritas normally cost 200 MXN, but the two drinks suddenly cost 250, cash only. That’s a reasonable local price, so I wish they’d advertised it that way instead of calling it 2x1. The hotel was quiet, and the location was good for a beach and city trip. We spent as little time there as possible and enjoyed the rest of the city. Lots of little things need fixing to make the stay great, and with these amenities it shouldn’t take much effort.

This is a great value in Tulum. My clean room had a jungle terrace, and the place offered affordable bike rentals for getting around town and to the beach. Christopher was helpful with anything I needed. The rooftop pool was lovely, the area felt safe, and the location was close to everything. The major grocery stores, with the best deals on food and souvenirs, were within walking distance. I’d recommend staying here.

The place looks modern and new, and it was very clean. I liked the rooftop pool, too. At around $60 a night, it felt like good value compared with the other hotels I visited on the island. Just keep in mind that breakfast is very basic. My only real hassle was trying to arrange an extra night. Like at many hotels in Mexico, a request outside the usual routine turned into repeated calls and still wasn’t handled correctly.

The rooftop pool was nice, and our room was spacious and clean. But we had no hot water for the entire stay, and the hotel refused to compensate us. The mattress was much too soft, the staff weren’t helpful, and the location is away from both the beaches and the downtown dinner spots. I wouldn’t recommend it.
