I came to Nomad Humans on my own to get away from the New Jersey winter for a few weeks and work remotely. I wanted a place to meet people in a similar situation, and I also needed reliable internet for video calls and a full work schedule. It delivered on both, and then some. There are activities and get-togethers that make it easy to meet other residents and connect with local culture, but there’s no pressure to join, so you can be as social or keep to yourself as you feel like each day. The people behind it are a big part of the place. Nico, Juli, and Matias are warm, welcoming owners who live in the building and take part in the community they’ve created. Before I arrived, they were responsive, lovely, and helpful with all my questions. When I asked about parking, they said there was some, but suggested a scooter instead of a car because of the jungle roads. I took their advice and was glad I did. Nomad Humans feels like a tucked-away gem in the Tulum Jungle. I’d highly recommend checking it out.

It’s lovely and so peaceful here, and I was really happy with my stay. Traveling solo, I enjoyed getting to experience the community, and the owners were incredibly kind. Matias took such good care of me when I needed help. Just keep in mind that it’s a bit far from town on foot, so you’ll need to rent a scooter or ATV.

I loved the quiet here, with jungle all around and birdsong. NomadHumans is tucked just before Tulum’s beach hotel zone, and feels more like a community than a hotel. Lots of guests stay for months. One person I met was there to finish his book. It’s not a party place, more somewhere to slow down, breathe, and fall asleep to the jungle sounds. I liked it so much that I decided to come back for a few more days. I only stayed one night before heading to Punta Allen, but Nico made everything easy. He shared useful local tips and even had my room ready early when I arrived before noon. The room was really nice, with a kitchenette and a private rooftop patio. If I could, I’d stay for months.

I loved unwinding by the two pools after a day out exploring, and the staff were so kind and attentive. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and artistic, surrounded by nature. It felt like a peaceful place to stay, and I’d happily recommend it.

The rooms were wonderful, and the owners made the whole place feel like home. They even offer free coffee and water, which I don’t usually see in Mexico. The atmosphere was lovely, and there are lots of activities that suit digital nomads. I already miss you all, and I’ve been telling everyone I meet to come enjoy this warm place. Thanks so much. I wish there were more people and places like this.
