The food was world class, and the resort felt like a pristine, therapeutic hideaway. Everyone on staff treated us like family during our extraordinary six days at Jashita. A welcome letter sets out the warm atmosphere and the family’s love of tradition that created the place. We can’t wait to get back. Thank you, everyone. We’ll miss you.

We were already thinking about coming back before we’d even left Jashita Hotel. The way it sits in the nature around Soliman Bay is lovely, with clean, beautiful rooms, a perfect private beach, and stunning pools. Details like the welcome drink and goodnight cookies make the stay memorable, and the service is attentive without hovering. You can feel the love Tommaso and his family put into managing the place. There’s a lot to enjoy at sea. Kayaks, SUPs, and snorkel gear let you explore Soliman Bay’s reef, where we spotted lobsters, stingrays, barracudas, parrotfish, and more. Breakfast was excellent, with good ingredients and plenty of choices, from fresh yogurt with granola and honey to well-prepared eggs and tasty Mexican-style breakfasts. The restaurant does a great job blending Italian and Mexican flavors. Special meals like barbecue nights were unforgettable, with very fresh fish and lobsters. It’s a place you fall in love with quickly.

We spent the whole trip in this little paradise bubble, snorkeling, sunning, swimming, eating, visiting the spa regularly, and doing yoga each day. The hotel arranged a seamless airport transfer. Our room had beautiful ocean views, hammocks, a plunge pool, hot showers, and a wonderful four-poster king bed. There’s beauty everywhere at Jashita, from the art, solid wood furniture, and flowers beneath the jungle canopy to the soft sand paths. They wind past reception and two pools, lead to a gorgeous oceanfront restaurant, and continue under the canopy to morning yoga in a tree house, an open-air spa, and a pristine beach with lovely couches and plush sun chairs. The people who run the property and work there were even better than the setting. They greeted us by name, remembered my gluten allergy and catered to it carefully, and shared such memorable, interesting conversations. Thank you for an incredible stay.

Jashita’s property and setting are stunning, and the staff are incredible. It’s a great place in Tulum for a very low-key, relaxing retreat. There’s free yoga each morning with wonderful instructors, and you could easily stay put the whole time because there’s no reason to leave. The property is quite far from Tulum’s main drag, which is great for peace and quiet but can make taxis surprisingly expensive. Rent a car if you want to explore. Just so you know, the restaurant is mainly Italian because of the Italian owners. There are Mexican dishes too, but they’re aimed at American and European palates, so they aren’t spicy. Ask for the habanero sauce and they’ll bring you a delicious one.

Jashita Hotel Tulum gave me a peaceful, comfortable week over Christmas, surrounded by nature between the jungle and sea in a protected, quiet bay. It felt relaxing while still being close to what Tulum has to offer. The service was warm, discreet, and attentive without intruding, and the privacy made the stay feel both relaxed and exclusive. The food was outstanding throughout, with a refined, balanced menu that suited the setting. The hotel really captures tranquility, authenticity, and comfort. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, high-quality escape.
