Secrets Tulum Resort & Beach Club - Adults Only - All Inclusive

The beach club was a letdown compared with what was advertised. It had a small pool, and when we visited in May the beach was closed because of excessive seaweed. Check the shuttle timetable at the entrance, since it doesn't actually come every 30 minutes as advertised. For us, an open beach would have made the experience complete, and we'd give the resort 8 out of 10. What stood out most was the staff. Even brief interactions made everyone in my group feel welcome, and the service felt like being among friends. The resort itself is clean and beautiful, with plenty of bars. Food was good, especially the authentic Mexican dishes at theme nights and in the buffet. La Taqueria by the main pool was handy for hot dogs and quick snacks. The specialty restaurants were good too. Portofino was amazing, though the portions were small. The Japanese restaurant is worth a try if you like sushi. I'd sample a few things before ordering more of a favorite. A big shout-out to Carlos (bartender), Hector and Timoteo (buffet area), Itzel (massage therapist), and Hermenegildo (room service guy). They were especially good at their jobs and went above and beyond.

The rooms were cleaned very well, and the food was good. The resort is beautiful, the beach club is lovely, and the entertainment team was friendly and fantastic: Gretel, Crysta, Enrique, Arturo, Samara. Food service was amazing too, with exceptional service from Alonzo, Joel, Jacinto, Jairo, and Gabriel. I'd definitely come back!

The resort is beautiful and has a distinctive feel. Our room was better than we expected, and the restaurants were quite good. We also liked being able to walk to lots of shops and restaurants, and the area felt safe on foot. The main drawback was how far the beach is, nearly 30 minutes by shuttle. There was also constant upselling for events and experiences. We were there for both Superbowl and Valentines Day, but the prices were higher than what we found off the resort, so we went elsewhere for those. The entertainment team made our 9-day trip especially fun. Sam, Gretel, Sebastian, and Enrique kept us busy with almost every activity, and Jeremiah by the main pool was my favorite bartender. Service from everyone was always amazing. I'd highly recommend it.

We had a great trip, and our private concierge, Nataly, made it even better. She was helpful whenever we needed anything and even helped locate something we'd lost after we left. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here, 10/10.
