I loved staying here with my dog. He got to socialize with all the pets, and sleeping in the tubes was a unique experience. Everything was very hygienic. It’s a lovely place to relax, heal, enjoy yourself and meet nice people. Thank you for the great service and the family feeling.

Clean, safe and inexpensive, this was the best value stay in Tulum for me. The bike and scooter rentals are the cheapest. The local tax was mentioned in my booking, so that was no problem. There are lots of Instagram worthy spaces. One thing that threw me off at first, the sign out front says Hostal TUBO, not multi.

Rick was super friendly and helpful, including with organizing trips. I liked the cosy, one of a kind experience of staying in round houses in a beautiful garden. The price is affordable for Tulum, and it’s well located with lots of cool places nearby. Breakfast and a kitchen set are included, the facilities were very clean, the beds were clean, and there was warm water. The extra charges felt unfair. We only learned about a Tulum tax in a private message after booking, and there wasn’t much we could do about it. There was also a card payment fee. In our whole round trip around the Yucatan peninsula, this was the first place that charged one, and that information hadn’t been provided beforehand.

The room is tiny but really cute, and the owners are very kind. You can rent bikes or scooters here. I’d definitely recommend staying.

The place was friendly, and so were the staff and other guests. The Wi-Fi was good. Breakfast is included, and you can help yourself to things like cereal with milk, apples, and sliced bread with jam. I recommend the standard room above the tubes. I wasn’t happy about the extra local tax of 60 pesos per night being charged outside the platform. Booking.com said the room payment would be processed online, but it wasn’t, and paying by credit card came with another 3% charge.
