The apartments are nicely equipped, the pool is great, and the balconies are a nice extra. Santos was a friendly concierge, available 24/7. But the location isn't central, so you'll really need a rental car, moped, or bike. Finding the place in the dark can be difficult, taxi drivers often refuse to go there, and I really wouldn't recommend walking at night. Water pressure is poor, and all the construction nearby makes for noisy mornings.

The apartments, building, and pool are lovely, but getting there can be confusing. The roads are unpaved and full of huge holes, with loud construction all around. The bathroom was tiny, and the plumbing barely worked.

We spent 14 days at Casa Calla Lilly and had a great Airbnb stay. The apartments were clean, Santos was a very nice concierge, and the swimming pool was lovely. It's not too far from the city or beaches, but I'd suggest having a car or scooter to get around. The Airbnb also offers bikes for getting around town.

There's so much construction noise, and the water pressure is nonexistent. You can't even refill the toilet to flush it. I'd rent here only as a crash pad if you're planning to spend most of your time somewhere else.
