You can explore the big cenote connected to the property on a kayak or stand-up paddleboard for free. This is a nature stay, more like camping with a comfortable bed and shower than a hotel, so don't expect AC. It's well described, though, and if you aren't scared of bugs or other little animals, you'll probably love it. There was mold in the tent, but this part of the jungle is humid, and you can't change that about this beautiful place. I didn't notice any bad smell, and the generator noise didn't bother me either. It's how this remote area gets power, so you have to accept the conditions you signed up for.

The shower and toilet might be the most Instagrammable ones I've ever seen 😆 The place is cute and has a concept of its own, with a real connection to a simpler, slower life. It's in the jungle, by the gulf and a cenote, so of course it's humid, and there can be a moldy smell. The tap water is a little salty, towels won't dry in that humidity, and living in nature means things aren't always tidy. If you're up for that, it's so worth it, but it's not the most comfortable or convenient choice for a long stay. You shouldn't expect the perks of an expensive hotel when this isn't one and doesn't cost like one. This part of the street is quiet. You might hear a generator, but it's from the hotel across the road, and it wasn't too loud.

The staff were incredibly friendly and did everything they could to make us comfortable. Thanks again for the ride, and greetings to Brutus. We liked the hostel as a break from Tulum town, which felt very touristy and packed with resorts for rich and famous people. Ordinary people don't have beach access there. This isn't a posh 10-star Ritz Carlton, and that's not what it's trying to be. The tent was nice, the bed was big and clean, and the bathroom had no walls, so you could poop in the jungle and watch the animals. You can swim or paddle in the cenote, or sit on a wooden platform by the lake and watch the sunset. We'd definitely come back, and stay longer next time.

We spent our last night in Tulum here, and it was a great find. The tents were extremely comfortable, with private showers and hot water, and we had everything we needed for a quiet night in this special spot. There's private access to a lovely cenote, where we paddled the kayaks the place provided at sunset. Beautiful location and a great atmosphere. I'd recommend it and would visit again.

The staff made us feel like family. They were so friendly and quick to help with anything, and the team at the next-door glamping spot where we had breakfast was lovely too. Breakfast was there, and the outdoor shower was a highlight. Being right beside a beautiful place in such quiet surroundings felt unreal, like we'd completely disconnected from life back home. Absolutely amazing, highly recommend.
