The location was perfect for me, right in the center but tucked onto a quiet street, a nice retreat from all the activity. It's just off the main road that goes straight to the beach, and bikes are available to rent for getting around downtown or riding to the shore. The villa was spacious and comfortable, and felt like home as soon as I arrived. I loved the pool and spent a lot of time there. When I first saw the place, I just stopped and stared. Lush trees and flowers everywhere made it feel like a little piece of paradise. Definitely recommend it, so worth it!

We had a really nice two-night stay. The staff were lovely, the room and pool were clean, and parking was included. The bed wasn't comfortable, but the WiFi was good, and I got real coffee in the morning 👌🏼 It's away from the busy roads, so it was pretty calm, while still being close to the main road and busy streets. The beach is far if you want to be near it, though there was a bike rental place just a few meters away.

We extended our visit from seven nights to ten, which says a lot about how much we enjoyed it. The apartment was spacious, with good AC in the bedrooms and lots of outdoor spots to sit. The full roof terrace was amazing, and the pool was lovely, often with just us there. All the staff were kind and helpful, and housekeeping came every other day. The WiFi dropped out quite often at night, and the water temperature varied a bit, but these were minor issues.

Marcia, one of the receptionists, made our vacation feel special with her dedication, advice, kindness, and generosity. The whole staff was great, and the experience went well beyond what we expected. The hotel is in a great location and very quiet. Our room was clean, the pool was great, and bikes are available to rent. I recommend staying here.

We slept like babies the whole stay. The beds were comfortable, everything was very clean, and the water was hot. Villas Akalan has a great pool, and we had it to ourselves the entire time. It's a beautiful spot right in the center, with bikes available and flexible, cool staff. We had an amazing time. Totally recommend it, enjoy amigos ;)
