A great spot to unwind with family. You can do all kinds of things here, like yoga, swimming in the river, or having a picnic. Amazing place!

Really good!

The grounds are beautiful and spacious, and there's plenty of parking. GPS takes you right there, with signs along the way if you need them. They don't let you bring food or drinks in because there's a restaurant on site. Some areas need upkeep, though: the river slide is too rusty to use, and both pools have still, green water. You can swim in the river, but watch for rocks and bits of tree trunk that could hurt you.

The river view is lovely, and I enjoyed relaxing in a lounge chair at sunset. The food was delicious, especially the ceviche and chicken estrujadas. It's an ecotourism hotel and restaurant beside the river, with green spaces, a playground, a temazcal (traditional sweat lodge), a tonal light, and a river dock. Kayaks are available to rent, too. I visited in August 2023 and rated it 85 out of 100. It's a pleasant place to unwind, and I would come back. Getting there takes a while from downtown Tuxpan, with the last 5 km on a dirt road. Most of the facilities are in decent shape, but the playground equipment, trampoline, and soccer goal need maintenance. The floating playground on the river looks rusty and unsafe, and the wading pool had stagnant water.

It's right by the river, where you can swim. Life jackets are provided if you can't swim. A calm place to relax with family, with free entry as long as you buy food and drinks, which are delicious.
