The room had a lot of maintenance problems. The shower drained so slowly that I took off the floor cover and fixed it myself. The restroom door squeaked, the wall lamps were loose, the AC filters were dirty and I cleaned them, and some outlet plates were missing. Claudia, the housekeeper, was very nice and did a great job. Wild Rooster is the bar right next door, and they play loud music until about 2am. We were as far away as possible and could still hear the bass in our room. The pool was always full of kids, even the hot tub, so we never tried it. Breakfast wasn’t good, and the women working there could be rude. It seemed like we were expected to sign in, wait to be seated, and not take food back to our room. There are two washers and two dryers. Using either costs $70 pesos, and the front desk provides soap and fabric softener. For the money, the stay was okay.

We had a great family stay, and the kids enjoyed the clean pool and hot tub area. The rooms were clean too, and the shower and restroom were nice. They didn’t have the shampoo and conditioner dispensers that some hotels commonly provide, but it wasn’t a big deal. My favorite part was definitely breakfast. There were tasty Mexican dishes every morning.

There are lots of places to eat near the hotel, and there’s a washer and dryer on site if you need them. Breakfast is served every day and the authentic Mexican food is really good. The place was very clean, and everyone was kind and friendly to visitors. I’ll definitely come back.

The hotel itself was fine, but the poor service at check-in made a bad first impression. The front desk staff were noticeably unfriendly and unprofessional, without basic courtesy during the interaction. We also saw a guest being asked to clean up broken glass himself, which seemed like something the staff should have handled. I stayed at La Quinta in Ciudad Juárez with my family. I hope the hotel improves its customer service so future guests feel more welcome.
