We were headed to Berriozabal every day, so the location worked really well for my family and me during our nine-night stay. My two brothers and my mom stayed too, and we were all happy with the hotel. The staff were very friendly and respectful, and having a parking guard was a big help with our rental car. We also appreciated the restaurant on site since we had little kids. The room had hot water, AC, and clean sheets, though a few towels looked quite brown. I always bring our own towels anyway, so that wasn't a big deal. The price was great, especially compared with how much a similar hotel can cost in the States. We'll stay here again when we visit my family.

At $690 pesos for one or two people, this spot is hard to beat for the price. The entrance to the parking area has plenty of clearance for a tall van or small RV, and pets are welcome. I found the place very clean, with friendly staff, strong hot water pressure, and cold AC. Wifi reaches all areas, though it's stronger in the common spaces.

The restaurant served decent food, and the service there was great. They even make their own coffee and beer. The hotel is just off the main road through town, and the rooms were clean and fairly quiet, with nice showers and washrooms. The in-room safes didn't work well, so we had to get them repaired. The TV had lots of local and international channels.

It was super loud at night, the waiter was miserable and rude, and the food was some of the worst I've had in Mexico. We paid for two nights, but wanted to leave the next morning. They wouldn't refund us.
