Breakfast was really good, though it could use a bit more variety. The place is very clean, and the friendly, attentive staff made it easy to recommend. It’s also close to the marimba park and other parks.

Something nearby, maybe a church, started ringing bells before 7 a.m. and woke me up two mornings in a row. I also woke up with bites all over my legs, most likely from bed bugs.

Check-in was quick and the staff were friendly. My room was comfortable, quiet, and clean, and the shower was the best, with unlimited hot water. After traveling extensively around southern Mexico, I’d say this hotel is truly worthy of five stars. It even has an elevator!

The included breakfast was tasty and generous enough to get the day started. The hotel is centrally located in Tuxtla, and while modest, it’s clean and has what you need for a couple of nights. Recommended.

The room was clean and roomy, with solid beds, and the service was good. It’s a budget-friendly option a few blocks from downtown Tuxtla, making it easy to get around. The breakfast was too light, though, and could be better.
