The restaurant on the top floor has reasonable prices, and the staff were helpful. Internet is free.

A nice hotel and a great experience.

Its location is central, just steps from the main park, and I think it’s a very good place to stay while visiting Tuxtla Gutiérrez. The service is good and it’s decent overall, though not especially luxurious. The facilities are a little behind on modernization. It’s a good option if you need somewhere to rest, but the choice is yours.

We ended up changing hotels after a regrettable stay. The hotel is in a good, busy area, but the rates felt excessive for the state of the facilities. The bathroom ceiling was in bad shape and looked close to collapsing. There were three very hard beds in our room. The receptionist said they were new, but their condition suggested otherwise. The old, flat pillows made it impossible to sleep comfortably, and we woke with sore necks. The bedding was torn and heavily worn, and the wall was cracked with plaster peeling off. Some rooms have flat-screen TVs and others don’t. The old TV in our room couldn’t be used for cable channels. The elevator seemed unsafe and needed maintenance, while the old hallway furniture on each floor was dusty and needed cleaning. Paying guests should get friendly, pleasant treatment, but the reception staff were pushy and made our stay uncomfortable. I hope the hotel takes steps to improve.
