I booked a room for two, but when the second guest arrived, the woman at the desk tried to charge extra. I explained the booking was for two, but she seemed not to understand and got very agitated. She was also rude and arrogant, and blocked my key card several times. It made for a really bad stay. Hotels rely on their customers, so the staff should treat them more courteously.

The room had a sink that wouldn't drain, hair in the shower, no hot water or ventilation, and a fan that wouldn't rotate. I had asked for a room with a fan, but there was an air conditioner hanging loose instead. The blinds weren't secured properly either. The facilities were poorly presented, and the service was terrible. At reception, I asked to change rooms or get a refund. The person called "Rubén Desa" was arrogant and offered no solution. He refused to connect me with anyone who could help, and wouldn't call the supposed manager, María del Rosario Robledo. I tried calling her number myself, but got no answer. He only agreed after I said I was out of luck. I went to the hotel next door, where they treated me with respect and attention. What a bad experience. Avoid this place.

The rooms were shabby, the air conditioning and TV didn't work, and they charged extra for cleaning. I had booked three nights but was charged for only two, and I hadn't checked my card to see how much I'd paid. Then a man who looked about 27 to 30 spoke rudely and said, "Hey, you son of a bitch, you owe me one night!" Terrible service and a really bad experience. Don't go there.

The place is in very poor condition, and the employees are arrogant. We complained about our room, but they offered neither a fix nor a refund. A terrible place to stay. If you're coming to Tuxtla, look elsewhere.
