The stairs are cramped and feel dangerous, and the toilet is really uncomfortable because there’s no divider between the shower and sink/toilet area. There’s no hot water either. They just say that’s how cold the water from the heater gets. For 100 pesos more, I’d rather stay at the hotel only 20 steps away.

The room itself was spacious and fine, and the bathroom was okay, but the toilet and shower share the same space, so two people can’t use it at once. Getting luggage upstairs was a real struggle. The stairs are very narrow and steep, and carrying my two suitcases up them was difficult.

Prices may be high compared with other travel agencies, though they do have a basic two-star hotel at the agency with an affordable rate and private bathroom. For the trips, they tell you what you’ll need and what they suggest bringing. They’re usually punctual and arrive on time to pick you up from your hotel.

The only part that bothered me was the short time allowed in Chiapa de Corzo. You end up spending time trying to find somewhere good to eat. Otherwise, it’s a good agency, the staff provide good service, they’re punctual, and the tour vans are spacious.
