The grounds were well kept, the rooms were clean and spacious, and everything was very cheap for what it offered. The staff were friendly too. Still, I couldn't shake the feeling this was a pretend hotel. It's in the middle of nowhere, which is great if you're trying to avoid other guests. The only other family staying overnight seemed fake too, or maybe they just lived there. There were power cords in the shower and no balcony railing, so don't let your kids out there. Breakfast was fine, but they only had instant coffee. At reception, nobody seemed to know how to use the computer or card terminal. When we tried paying cash, they didn't have change. The receptionist, waiter, or whoever they were, asked a neighbor for money, and we ended up paying less than we owed because they still couldn't make change. The place worked well for what we needed, a good, cheap bed not too far from Edzna. But did I mention the balcony had no railing?

The food was delicious and always fresh, and the rooms were clean. The staff were caring and attentive, and I never had any issues. I'd recommend the place to everyone. The townspeople were really nice and happy to see you every day.
