Hotel Tarasco

We went as a family for a special occasion. It’s a Mexican buffet with good food, including tacos, enchiladas, and other dishes. The drinks weren’t to my taste, but the staff were kind and the service was very good. There was music too. I think it’s a great restaurant and recommend it.

The kitchen hygiene was terrible, and the staff weren’t very friendly. The buffet food was cold, and the waiters didn’t seem to care about the drinks. They couldn’t even make a proper Cuban mojito, and admitted they didn’t have a real barman.

Dessert was poor, or practically nonexistent, with just flan and gelatina, so I’m taking off a star for that. The lunch buffet itself was delicious and inexpensive, with very good service. My favorites were Carne Apache, ceviche, tacos al pastor, de cabeza, de bistec, and de chuleta, paella, and filete de.pescado empanizado. There were plenty of other smaller dishes too. I’d go back.

I used to visit the hotel for its buffet, but the food hasn’t tasted good these past few days. It even gave me food poisoning. I won’t go back; there are better choices in Uruapan.
