My daughter got sick one night, after 11, and the manager helped us with medicine, fresh bedding, and whatever else we needed. He was friendly and full of suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The front desk guy was helpful, too, and for the price and location this place earned five stars from us. We had an air-conditioned room with two beds and a bathroom, and both the AC and bathroom were totally fine. There are kitchen facilities, a plunge pool, enough seating to eat, and the friendliest little cat. It's a well-run guesthouse, as long as you set your expectations accordingly and don't expect a five-star resort. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

The owners were the best part of our stay. They're so friendly and ready to help with anything, and they made our trip better than we could have hoped. The location is great, and the rooms were clean.

The location is lovely for the price, which helped balance out the hassles. We could park our rental car inside the gate, but the parking gate was separate from the courtyard and needed its own key, so getting in and out was a pain. We had three keys for our stay, but only one set for a family of four, and that got frustrating when we were coming and going a lot. The host was polite and helpful when my son clogged the toilet, which I fixed. The courtyard was cute, but the pool looked too cloudy and needed its water changed, so we stayed out. It felt more like a cold plunge for adults anyway. The kitchen was fine for making coffee, though we had to unplug things to get an outlet, and couldn't use two appliances at once. The room had the same outlet issue, wasn't swept, and had sand everywhere. Still, it was a good price.

We had a great few days here. The receptionist was just perfect, and the garden is especially nice in the morning and evening. I'd definitely recommend it if you're after somewhere cheaper and low-key. Totally worth it.
