Casa Xu´unan

We were traveling as a family of four, and I can't recommend this place enough. The garden is beautiful, breakfast was delicious, and the location worked perfectly for Valladolid, near the main tourist street and one of the two best attractions here. I gave it 10/10 on Booking.com, but never wrote the review it deserved. You really feel the Mexican atmosphere here :)

Casa Xu'unan had a relaxed feel, with clean, spacious rooms and very good wi-fi. The hosts were welcoming, and breakfast came set with fruit, toast, and a Mexican dish. The setting is lovely too, and all the main Valladolid attractions are nearby. A wonderful place to stay.

We had a splendid room for three adults, bright and roomy, with comfortable beds. The bathroom was clean and pleasant, with a nice shower and toiletries, and there was even an iron, a quiet mini fridge, and big, thick towels. The family, mostly women across several generations, made us feel very welcome. The location is ideal, behind the convent and close to a street full of nice bars, shops, and restaurants. In the garden, they cook tasty Mexican breakfasts in an open kitchen. There's also a sheltered spot with hammocks and a lovely pool for cooling off. A water dispenser with free drinking water would be a small improvement.

We didn't meet anyone as kind as Mr. Miguel and his wife Susi during our trip to Mexico. They made such a strong impression on us that we'll remember them for a long time, maybe forever. This place went beyond what we expected.
