Cabañas Treje

The team was so friendly and helpful, and the customer service was incredible. I really enjoyed my stay at Cabaña Treje.

Such a great spot, with really kind, accommodating service. The floors were a little cold in the morning, and the hot water ran out pretty quickly, but I still had an amazing stay.

Our plan was to relax in a cabin, but instead we ended up dealing with a mess and had nowhere to stay. We had to drive back to the city late at night, taking risks on the road. They never apologized or offered any compensation, and it seemed like they didn't understand how badly this affected us. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. I asked about a particular room and was told the dates were available, so I planned my vacation around it. I paid the deposit on time and was told the reservation was confirmed. Then, on the day we were due to arrive, just five minutes before check-in, they messaged that "DUE TO A PLATFORM ERROR" the room had been given to someone else. I hadn't booked through an app. I booked directly with them. Their proposed fix was a different room, clearly more expensive, with a "discount." It wasn't suitable for what we needed. There were only three of us, while the room they offered was for around eight people. Because of their mistake, I still would have had to pay more, even with the discount. They said they wanted to solve the problem, but didn't even have the courtesy to tell me the night before. Their best answer was a discounted mega-room we didn't need. They wrecked our vacation and plans to unwind, then left us without accommodation after we had already arrived. We were stuck with the food and plans we'd prepared for relaxing at the cabin. Even returning the deposit was a hassle: they couldn't copy the account number from my text and wanted me to read it out digit by digit to process the payment. Their "passive" response was to avoid a discussion and keep trying to "solve" things by offering something we didn't need. I followed every procedure they gave me, but despite their mistake, we were the ones who suffered the consequences. Don't trust this place. Even after paying and reserving ahead, they can cancel right before check-in, then passively and aggressively offer your deposit back or a more expensive option with a "discount."

The "pool" is tiny, and the water was dirty. On the day we arrived, the owners' family was having a party with a speaker, even though the rules ban parties and speakers in rooms or common areas. We complained, and they turned the noise off, but got upset with us. At least the room we were given felt like a hotel room, not a cabin. We were very disappointed. The sun shone straight into the room.
