The staff were friendly, and they kept my bag for me after checkout. My room was clean, the towels were nice, and the WiFi worked. You can walk to everything in town. The neighbor's TV was a little loud, but I travel with earplugs, so it wasn't a problem.

A good budget option in a convenient location. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly. It's a traditional Mexican hotel, so expect somewhat hard beds, low water pressure, and hot water that's usually warm rather than truly hot.

It's an easy walk to the town plaza, church, restaurants, and lake. Since the route back from the lake is all uphill, I'd take a cab to the hotel, which costs 50-70 pesos. The hotel has Wi-Fi, but there's no internet service, so don't count on getting online. The rooms are simple, clean, and quiet, aside from the rooster out back that wakes you at 5 am. The staff are friendly.

Room 8 smelled a little musty, but I was able to switch rooms without any hassle. The new room was great, with a good hot shower and WiFi. 😍
