Hotel Puerta de Mar

The view is really nice, and the price is right. I come here before checking in at whichever hotel I'm headed to. It's got the basics I need: AC, toilet paper, shampoo and soap, outlets, a chair, a bed, and a TV. Works fine in a pinch.

I liked it for what it is, somewhere to sleep and rest. The room's small but has AC and a TV, and the bathroom is okay. They don't provide blankets, just so you know, though it usually isn't that cold here.

My family and I had to leave for another hotel, and people in our tour group were complaining the next day and scratching themselves. There were bugs all over the place, with hair and what looked like animals in the room. We could see bedbugs without even pulling the bedding apart. I wouldn't have minded an austere hotel, but basic hygiene matters, and this place was nowhere near acceptable. They shouldn't charge for a room like that. I won't come back even if they pay me.

It was truly horrible. The rooms were cramped, the sheets were dirty and apparently weren't changed, and there was a musty smell. No internet, cold water, dirty everything, and terrible facilities. The staff service was just as bad. If you want to avoid a bad experience, don't stay here.
