The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and spacious, and they even let us see two rooms before we picked one. Both cost the same, and we chose the one with a little more space. I liked the balconies and the nice hot water too. The beds were a bit stiff, but not the worst. There are lots of things nearby, and the hotel has free breakfast and a pool up top. The stained glass in the lobby is nice as well. Americans should stop criticizing cheap hotels here for not being luxurious. Be realistic. Little things like kind staff and clean rooms make me happy, and I had an awesome stay.

The room was very basic and smelled strongly of damp and mold, and the pool was really dirty. But the worst part was what happened with Ivėn, the man handling the entrance and luggage. He acted helpful and friendly, but I believe he used that to take advantage of our group. When we checked out, we needed a taxi. Ivén recommended a friend’s service and said, “can be trusted.” At our destination, the driver demanded more than the amount originally agreed. We called Ivén, and he sided with the driver, claiming this was the price we’d agreed on. It clearly wasn’t. We all speak Spanish fluently, so this wasn’t a language misunderstanding. It felt like a premeditated scam taking advantage of tourists. This man shouldn’t be working in the service industry. 0/10, I’d never come back.

The lobby was nice, but the room was small, smelled bad, and looked dirty. I checked in and checked out again 10 minutes later.

My mom and I were really happy to have a kitchenette, since older moms like to eat all the time. The hotel was very clean and secure at the entrance and in the lobby, and the staff were friendly and helpful. L.G.
