Hotel Carmelitas 42

A low-cost, no-frills room with what you need: a 32-inch LED color TV with a decoder box, mini-split air conditioning, a large wardrobe, nightstand, mirror, small table and bench. It's quiet and modern, and the bathroom was clean and well kept. Everything was really clean, with no extra decorations. The double bed felt a little hard if you like a softer mattress. Worth it? Of course, the price is unbeatable.

The room was clean, quiet, and excellent. The only downside was having to take the stairs.

The staff were arrogant for the level of service, and I wouldn't recommend staying here. You have to call ahead to get the door opened. Our bathroom was dirty and smelled bad, and neither the TV nor cable worked, though both were supposed to be available. Water from the AC leaked over the whole bed, and a sheet of metal made noise that they couldn't fix. The shower water was scalding, so bathing comfortably meant trying very early or very late. If you absolutely have to stay, go ahead, but you'd be better off finding somewhere else.

The room was clean, and it's fine if you're here for work, but the receptionist was somewhat rude and unfriendly. On Saturday morning, someone from management loudly explained to another guest how to open locks and things like that, so nobody could sleep. There are two buildings. If you're in the one without reception and want to go out, you have to go to the other building first to be let in.
