Mia City Villa Hermosa

I liked the wall art in the halls and rooms, and there’s a good taco stand right outside. The rooms were clean, everything worked fine, and the customer service was great. I’d stay again.

I booked two rooms through booking for six people, three adults and three children. I even paid for the 13 year old as an adult, so that made four adults. At check-in, they told me I’d only paid for two people and wouldn’t let the rest of my family in. I showed them the reservation, but they still said the information was wrong. I had paid for both rooms and only got one, and they wouldn’t give me the breakfast for the second room until I complained. The woman at the front desk kept blaming the app, even though the information they were giving was wrong. At the very least, they could have let the other family stay.

The building was very clean, and I loved the interior artwork. The open windows along the hallways kept fresh air coming through, and the dining area was good. The staff were friendly and treated me really well. They also handled the language barrier very well. I’ll come back to this hotel every time I visit Villahermosa.

The place is getting old, so some things could use improvement, though the service was generally good. They lost my ID, so make sure to ask for yours back. Also be careful entering the parking area, the spaces are so tight and badly designed that your front bumper will scrape the ground.
