Martha and Toño are wonderful hosts, and their warmth made my two months there feel like a real privilege. At first I blamed the street and nearby pool for the noise, but Xilitla is noisy all over. I couldn't find another place in town that came close for the price. I had a great stay and highly recommend it.

The dog-friendly policy is a nice bonus, and it's right beside a creek. The basement room felt a little humid, though. It's a cozy, cute spot and good for the money, so we do recommend it. The rooms higher up probably get lovely views.

I liked being close to central Xilitla without losing the feeling of being near nature. The upper floor has lovely views and feels more private. Our room was clean, the shower stayed hot, and the staff were great. The kitchen is pretty bare-bones, but usable, and it's good value.

The room was clean and the people were nice, and the place itself is pretty. But the water pipes ran noisily all night. The kitchen had a terrible smell and every dish was dirty. The shower had no pressure or cold water, just water that was burning hot.

A quiet, inexpensive place that makes sense if you're into nature and mainly need somewhere to sleep. It's close to Las Fosas and Cebolla Waterfall, though downtown is farther away. The price and quality are a good match.
