A small, clean, very nice hotel. It's somewhat tucked away, but easy enough to find if you have directions.

The place looks really nice, but it's much too expensive. The cleaner rushed us out of the room.

A peaceful place with a nice setting, and the rooms are pretty good.

The pool was cool rather than freezing, so we were able to enjoy it, especially since there were no other guests. With eight rooms, though, it seems pretty small if the place is full. It's about four blocks from the center, and the area is deserted at night, so I'd suggest having a car. We wanted to look around but there wasn't anything to see. It's a nice, quiet place for a couple's getaway, and it has a range of amenities. I found it on Airbnb, though booking on their website is cheaper. Communication about the reservation and arrival went well, but the staff weren't very friendly or helpful. After we found two cockroaches at different times, I had to ask for Raid in case there were more. They didn't check whether the rags had been cleaned or ask if we needed anything else. I know bugs can happen with the garden and heat, but that's why fumigation matters. The room also needed maintenance. The shower was clogged and sprayed weakly in every direction until my husband cleaned the showerhead himself. The curtain was too short, so water splashed across the bathroom; we had to ask for a mop to keep it from reaching the rooms. The mini-fridge and fans worked fine, but I really wouldn't recommend coming in hot weather. The rooms are tiny, and the ceiling fans don't cool them down. We knew there was no air conditioning, but didn't expect beach-like heat, and we slept badly. The bed was comfortable, but the sheets weren't clean, we found hairs on them. I bring my own sheets because this has happened to us elsewhere. The curtains in the sofa room should be replaced too. They're old and thin, with no proper blackout, so patio light and morning sun come straight in. We didn't use that room this time, but anyone sleeping there would have trouble. At $1900, I don't think the price matches the quality.

There were bedbugs in the rooms. They refused to move me, so I ended up sleeping outside in a hammock.
