I wouldn’t recommend this place. There’s no desk for check-in, and if you don’t have mobile data, you may not be able to get on the WiFi because you need a password. In the room, the outlets on both sides of the bed didn’t work. The TV had a crack across the screen that limited what you could see, and its broken remote wouldn’t let us turn down the volume. Water was so limited that showering was difficult, and you couldn’t wash dishes if you planned to use the kitchen. There were very few utensils, just one spatula for cooking. The worst part was how often the cleaner and the boss came into our room demanding payment for marks on the bedsheet. The towels were already dirty when we arrived, and I said any sheet charge would have to go through Agoda. The cleaner and boss entered while we didn’t know, searching for money. When we arrived, the cleaner and her older son were in our room, which made us suspicious and very uncomfortable. The price changed twice when it was time to pay, which also made it feel like a scam. The cleaner said “no English” and wouldn’t let me translate on Google, because she didn’t care what I had to say. The boss said the sheet had to be thrown out, but the cleaner showed us it was going to be washed. Then the boss came to our room at 11.45pm while we were trying to sleep and demanded money. We had no choice but to pay over 10 pounds for a small stain.

Once we’d completed check-in, the room was very comfortable, the terrace view was terrific, and the kitchen was well equipped. It’s five minutes from the beach and right beside the park. We even spotted some Iguanas and a raccoon on the terrace. Finding the entrance was a bit tricky. The host replied quickly and was very keen to send recommendations, but check-in was a little confusing since there was no reception, just a QR code.

The room was moldy, and the owner didn’t seem to care. We were left there for two days with no water pressure, and neither the shower nor the toilet worked. A very bad experience. I’d never book there again.

There was a flood and all our belongings got wet, but the owner didn’t care. The air conditioner also wasn’t working, and we couldn’t get any help from the worker. The owner was very mean.
