Very disappointing. The advertised kitchenette access comes with charges for bringing in food and a corkage fee. The young woman giving information was the most frustrating part: she shared it bit by bit and incompletely, even though we were guests. She kept moving us around to favor guests who had paid more for their rooms, and benefits were moved or denied in favor of people with more money.

The rooms are comfortable and the place is nice, but it needs maintenance and better service. You’re basically on your own, whether you need water or just want help with the TV. The pool was neglected, only half full, and freezing cold. There was no hot water in the shower either.

On both of my visits, there was no hot water. The pool was really dirty, and I found hair on the sheets. Still, if there’s new management now, I’d be glad to try coming back, since the location is excellent and the facilities are nice.

I was worried the service might be bad after reading the negative comments, but my stay a few days ago was the complete opposite. The hotel was really good, and it’s a great place to enjoy time with family. The rooms were clean and comfortable, so I’ll definitely return on my next vacation.
