This is a cute, local, rustic place to unwind, with beautiful views and really nice people. There are kayaks to use, or you can lounge by the wading pool. Your phone barely works, which is part of the appeal. Just know the individual casitas have fans but no AC, and the nearby ocean surf is rough, so it’s not great for swimming. If you’re after a Four Seasons kind of hotel, look elsewhere.

The cabins are small and lovely, and the place is really peaceful and beautiful. We visited in March, when the weather was just right, cool at night and not too hot in the daytime. Bring bug spray, though, since there are mosquitoes. A very pleasant stay.
