You’ll need a car, but the location works well for the stadium and fairgrounds, and the center isn’t too far away. The service is very good, and the hotel offers good quality for the price.

I was there for one night on a work trip, and the ground-floor room was a genuinely awful experience. I’d only suggest it if you had no other choice. It felt like a two-star place, and honestly I’d give it 5 out of 10. The room was sealed up with no ventilation, and its window faced the street. The lights had full-strength bulbs that were painfully glaring. There was no cable or phone, and the water was cold unless you asked them to heat it, then left. The whole ground floor smelled dirty and like sewage. At night, a mouse came out. The advertised “affordable” rate didn’t feel worth it. They also keep cancellation fees and charge 200 to lend you the TV remote.

The rooms look nice, but they weren’t clean enough, and I even learned who had stayed in my room the week before. Booking was a huge hassle, and they said there was parking when there wasn’t. The cleaning lady was rude. Breakfast was good on the day the manager was there, but the next day they served only half as much. The receptionist and manager were both very friendly, though everyone needs to improve.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, has a family-friendly feel, and the rate is good for an overnight stop while traveling or for a break. It works for either a short or long stay. I spent 11 days there for work and ordered breakfast at the hotel. The woman making it was very attentive, but the choices were limited to eggs made to order or chilaquiles. Twice the chilaquiles came with tortilla chips like Doritos, and once they had enfrijoladas. I wouldn’t bother having breakfast there. Also, twice the hot water wasn’t turned on. You have to keep asking the night receptionist to switch on the water heater in the morning.
