We booked two rooms for six adults and told the hotel we'd arrive at 3 p.m., the check-in time. After we checked in and paid, the staff said only one room was ready and the second would take another hour or an hour and a half. The first room they showed us had its door open and the beds weren't made. The supervisor confirmed it wasn't ready, then showed us another room that also wasn't ready. We were told to come back in an hour, so we left our bags with the valet and went to handle our business. Since neither room was ready, we found rooms at another hotel within 10 minutes. The manager didn't know what was going on until we returned and canceled. No compensation or apology. I'll never stay here or recommend this poor hotel. It has a 9.1 rating, but to me it's a 5.0.

At checkout, they said one of our four rooms hadn't been paid for, even though we'd checked in, signed paperwork for all four, and received keys. We'd paid for three in cash and one by card during our December 4-7 stay. There were no receipts, so I couldn't prove the cash payment. They kept changing the person I spoke to, and wouldn't check the cameras. I saw signs saying that if they don't give you a receipt, your night is free. I asked them to charge the room to my card and reimburse me once they sorted it out, but my emails have gone unanswered. The address listed for the free-night policy bounces. Be aware!

The staff were excellent, and the location is great. A first class hotel, a winner!

The breakfast buffet is delicious, and there's shopping, food, and regular street entertainment in the plaza right across the street. For a city view, ask for a room facing that way. It costs a little more, but it's worth the extra money. Clean, comfortable, safe, and a great value all around.

Everything is within walking distance, and our balcony looked out at the church. The staff were really nice and even arranged to have flowers delivered to our room for my husband on Valentine's Day. Honestly, I have no complaints. If you're not sure where to stay, I recommend this hotel!
