I loved staying here.
We could walk to everything we wanted to see, including the mine, and the city center is only a few blocks away. The place is beautiful and cozy. Our room was really spacious, the bathroom was amazing, and everything was spotless. Downstairs there's a charming little café that roasts and grinds its own beans, so the smell is delicious. Best part for us, it's pet-friendly! My kids were thrilled, and so were we. We'll definitely come back. I recommend it 100%.
With just six rooms, it seems well suited to couples, small families, or a group of friends. The hotel feels cozy, with antiques and recycled pieces that give it a creative, modern look. It's comfortable and pleasant, and the price is affordable. Definitely recommended.
The room itself was very nice, but the service was terrible. I don't know if it had anything to do with the reservation being under someone else's name, but when I raised a complaint, I was ignored. There was never anyone around to answer questions, and the price wasn't low enough to make that kind of treatment acceptable. I was out visiting family during the day and only used the room to sleep and shower. On the second day, I found there was no hot water. I called the reservation number and was told the hotel was full and relied on a solar water heater, so there wouldn't be hot water. Zacatecas is cloudy for almost half the year, yet they charged nearly as much as the better-known hotels. I wouldn't stay here again, even if I had to.
Flexible check-in times were a big plus, and the manager was friendly and attentive. The hostel is generally well kept, with comfortable rooms and lovely interior design. The location is great too. I'd definitely stay here again.
