Our wedding here felt magical, and everything looked gorgeous. The staff were sweet, helpful, and made me feel safe the whole time. Service was great, and the breakfast was delicious. I loved it all.

We stayed one night for a wedding weekend in the room called Maclovia, which had a king bed. It was spacious and in good shape, with lovely views. There was lots of light in the bathroom, which made it easy and pleasant to get ready and do my makeup. The venue has green, well-kept grounds, lots of flowers, and different rooms and areas for events. Its gorgeous chapel can seat quite a few people while still feeling intimate and romantic. Breakfast was included, with a nice choice of traditional Guadalajara / Mexican dishes. The wedding food was delicious, though I don't know whether it came from the hacienda or a caterer. There were some things that bothered us. Near the entrance we saw a body of water that smelled like sewage, and we smelled sewage again during the reception. I'm unsure whether that's common in the area. The bathroom also had a strong burnt chemical smell, like hair relaxer from a salon. I spent a long time getting ready in there, and my throat hurt the next day. I don't know if something was going on during our visit or if it's a regular issue. The sheets had a dried stain, the towels felt worn and not plush, and the hot water took a while. Sometimes the tap didn't work, and we skipped showering because the water wasn't running properly. Even so, the place is beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay.

The staff were outstanding, and breakfast was delicious. We were here for a wedding ceremony and reception. The chapel was lovely, with hanging vines softening the light, and the elegant, spacious hacienda had plenty of nice spots for photos or just relaxing. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and nicely decorated, though the plumbing could use an upgrade. Reception catering was handled efficiently and the food was decent. It was a very pleasant experience.

The food was delicious, and the chapel was lovely. I really liked that they kept the building's original structure. It's a beautiful place for a destination wedding: you and your guests can stay at the hotel, have a priest marry you in the chapel, then hold the reception all in one place within walking distance.

The service was good, and staff were always ready to help, though they could use more etiquette training. The hacienda is in a good neighborhood and has large rooms, but they often lacked basics like towels, a shower curtain, an ironing board, or a steam iron. The TV control didn't always work either. The kitchen needs work and the menu falls short. Breakfast came with one small orange juice per person, which wasn't enough. When the power goes out, there's no emergency generator, so if it's warm and you don't have a fan, good luck staying cool. I also saw two dogs by the entrance, each kept in a small circular cage. They looked neglected and in need of attention, and should be treated like humans. I personally wouldn't recommend this hacienda.
