Hotel Nuevo Vallarta

I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you need to sleep well. The mattresses are hard enough that I could feel the springs, and too much light comes through the windows. They also don’t supply shampoo or drinking water, even though cheaper hotels do.

The rooms seemed clean and were roomy and comfortable, and two of the three women on staff were friendly. But we found two bed bugs, which pretty much wipes out the little good the place had going for it. I wouldn’t come back because of the infestation.

The service was very good, and everything they brought was clean. The beds were just okay, though, and the sink is tiny. The showers seem homemade: the outlet is broken, so water shoots out in a jet. The boiler room is 3 km up from here.

In room 320, the ceiling beside the bed was in poor shape, and there was a lot of mold on the bathroom ceiling. The receptionist was very rude. They also charge for check-in, while two nearby hotels didn’t charge me.
