I witnessed a tourist woman who was with a group being taken against her will to that place, where some men committed atrocities against her. Police officers were present, and other members of that gang were spread along the street. No one knows what happened to the woman after that. I absolutely don't recommend these places. Don't let your daughters go off alone with groups that won't protect them.

The owner and staff are very friendly, and it's a small, cozy place. Our standard room had air conditioning, a smart TV, and an iron. Call the manager before arriving, since the hotel may look closed. My wife and I knocked when we got there, but nobody answered. They later explained that guests are supposed to lock the front door each time they go in or out. They give you a separate key for it in addition to your room key.

There are different kinds of accommodation to fit your travel style, with what you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and had fans and air conditioning, and the Wi-Fi signal was excellent. Shops and businesses, the city center, and the market are all close by.

The owners and staff were very welcoming and shared useful advice for enjoying the different beaches. The location is hard to beat, just 5 minutes from Playa Madera and the artisan market. A great vacation option!
