Casa Sun and Moon

The service was incredible and the pool fantastic. Wonderful place, though I wish the beds were better.

We stayed in white building number one, which was very relaxing. It felt safe, was quiet and clean, and the Team Casa Sun and moon worked well together to keep everything running smoothly. The restaurants were the biggest surprise, tucked away and requiring a little adventure to find. I liked the place more the longer I stayed. I recommend tipping the maids daily for their service. We left pesos on the beds every morning, and they were the best. Tipping the waiters is good too.

My room, 00, was perfect: airy, spacious, and private, though it didn't have an ocean view. Some other rooms seem less private, with windows opening onto a shared patio. The place is clean, with plenty of spots to hang out, and the staff are friendly and helpful. When my fridge stopped working, they replaced it within a couple of hours. Great beach access and close to downtown. Highly recommended.

First stay, and never again. The bathroom ceiling in the first room I shared with two friends leaked so badly it was like light rain. They moved us to a small room, apparently the only other option. We had no hot water for four days, and to top it off, there were some big cockroaches.
