The rooms feel generous and look lovely, and the price is very reasonable. Service was really good too. They could make the suites more practical by supplying cutlery, pots, pans, and the basics for cooking. Still a great deal for what you pay.

The balcony was the one part of the presidential suite I really liked. The room itself didn’t live up to that name, and there are several things that need work. The mattress and pillows weren’t as comfortable as I’d expected, and the soap, shampoo, and toilet paper were all poor quality. Hot water sometimes barely got warm, almost cold. The TV kept losing its already weak signal, so at times there was nothing to watch. Internet was worse: we couldn’t connect because of IP errors, and the setup seemed unable to handle more devices. A more professional router that can support that many connections would help. For now, I wouldn’t stay here again.

The rooms were clean and pleasant, and it was quiet. The TV was the letdown: small, with a poor picture, and its remote didn’t work.

The terrace had a lovely mountain view, and the room was a good size. It’s a simple, charming hotel in Tlatlauquitepec, with attentive staff and good service. It would be nice if they offered coffee for guests, either in the room or at reception. Sitting out on that terrace with a good cup sounds hard to resist. A good place to stay.
