Castillo Oasis

The tower room was excellent, and we also stayed in two of the other rooms. All three were clean, quirky, and comfortable, especially for the very reasonable price. The property is a leafy little escape from the daytime heat and is incredibly close to the beach. We loved our five days here. Corina was welcoming, and it’s clear she puts a lot of thought and effort into making sure guests have a good stay.

Corrina was such a helpful, lovely host, and we really enjoyed our short visit. The place has a treehouse feel, with charming room decor like crystals and seashells set into the walls. There’s a safe for storing important belongings. Our room was clean and well maintained, but the bathroom smelled foul and didn’t feel as clean, which is why I’m not giving five stars.

We had the top treehouse room, which we thought was the best one. It was private, had a great view, and included a nice little spot to relax. The owner was really kind and made sure we could enjoy our time there. You can surf a bit at the beach, too. Just know that the nearest beach is a bit of a nudist beach, which could be a shock or a laugh if you weren’t expecting it.

We stayed in the open cabana on the roof, and it was cozy and comfortable. The quiet, sweet interior has lovely bohemian details, and the hotel was clean. Corina was a great host and made our stay more comfortable. It’s a one-minute walk from beautiful Zipolite beach. We arrived exhausted and did hear some road noise early in the morning. That might not be an issue in the regular rooms.
