My room had a balcony facing the ocean, and I was speechless. The room was beautiful, and waking up to the ocean every time I opened my eyes was incredible. The center is a safe 5-10 minute walk along the beach. Paulina, the host, was really nice, and I’m excited to see her dreams for this place come true. There is a nightclub nearby that plays awful music late into the night, but earplugs helped, and the beauty of the place outweighed that for me. Yes, there are mosquitos, but that’s Mexico. Buy some spray and use the mosquito nets provided around the bed, and it’s easy enough to manage.

The food was great, especially the French toast drizzled in chocolate. They play some of the best music on the beach, too. One morning we even heard live saxophone and upbeat jazz, which made it such a great spot. They’re supportive of the beach’s nudist culture and let guests be nude in the restaurant area on the beach if they want. I’d recommend it.

The location is ideal, far enough from town to be quieter but still an easy walk to whatever you need. It’s a relaxed, open-air place that makes it easy to connect with the beach. You can lounge in hammocks on the terrace or sit at the tables and chairs out front, looking over the ocean for whales and surfers. There’s a good, simple breakfast and good coffee. The staff are amazing, and it’s a cool place to meet people or just relax by yourself.

We spent three weeks at the Lyoban Hotel and loved it. Our room was spacious, with big windows but no glass, so we could feel the breeze, hear the waves, and take in a spectacular view. The hotel, food, drinks, and staff were all amazing, and we couldn’t have picked a better stretch of beach. Valentin, Mara, and Hector made our holiday so memorable. We’ll definitely be back.

Hector, the new owner, is a lovely, caring, genuine person. The hotel is right on the beach and well situated. You can feel free, relax, and feel at home here. Hector is doing his best to make the place great again and bring a good vibe.
