I booked through Agoda and got a huge discount, but the hotel refused to honor the reservation when I arrived and wanted to charge me a much higher price. I don't know whether Agoda or the hotel was at fault, but I was left without a room.

We were three people in room 207 for one night. It cost RM207 and had one double bed and one single bed. The room was comfortable and fairly spacious, with plenty of floor space for prayers. There was a large half-length mirror, hangers, towels, shower caps, cotton buds, a working TV and an electric kettle. We had a city view, and there are some restaurants nearby, since I think it's in the middle of the city. Parking was plentiful and there's a lift. The air conditioner took a while to cool the room, and the sink tap ran very slowly, making even washing my face take ages. The bidet and shower had normal, strong pressure. There was no water filter like Cuckoo or Coway, but the room did have one 1.5 L bottle of drinking water. The Nescafe sachets were provided, but the creamer had gone hard, maybe because it was expired or something.

The location in the city is cozy and convenient, and parking is right on the ground floor. The receptionists were kind and up to date, the air conditioning was amazing, and the water was already good to boil. I'm 13, and I was really impressed with Caspira Hotel. VEYLLAN ANBU. Whether you're visiting Simpang Ampat as a tourist or from Malaysia, this hotel suits your needs. It seems like a great place to stay when you're on holiday and want to get to the city.

A very nice hotel, comfortable, clean and affordable. It's close to all sorts of amenities, with ZUS Coffee, Speed art 99, KK Mart, Pizza Hut and a food court all within reach.
