Yussy Homestay at Afamosa Villa

We had a great family gathering at 1069 Villa, and I’d definitely come back. The host was friendly, and the house was clean and well maintained, especially the toilet. The big pool is in the backyard, so there’s privacy while swimming. The barbecue pit was clean, and the karaoke was fun to sing along to with family. The rooms were nice, with white sheets that made it feel like a hotel, and the air conditioning worked well.

At night, two of my friends saw a black shadow of a man standing with his head bent. If only one person had seen it, I might have thought it was a hallucination. We also heard loud party noise, though the house next to our villa was empty. The next two houses were broken, with no windows and dirty walls, which made the place feel really scary. On top of that, water dripped through the roof. The place itself was good for a vacation, but I wouldn’t return.

I’m staying here now, and it’s not worth it. The karaoke set doesn’t work and the snooker table is broken. Some guests played loudspeakers and partied until 3 a.m., so I couldn’t sleep.

There was fungus by the pool and mold on the walls and ceilings. The air conditioner was noisy and dripped water, and a previous guest’s face mask was left on the dressing table. The place was super dirty and unhygienic, though it could comfortably fit about eight people. When I called Airbnb to complain, the host messaged us on WhatsApp and said the cleaner had rushed through the cleaning to accommodate us. We’d booked in advance.
