The room and verandah were a good size, the location was good, and the water pressure was strong. But the furniture was extremely old and dirty, and the mini fridge smelled bad and was dirty too. The tap was broken and hard to use. The toilet doorknob was broken as well, and management hadn't replaced it, just added a small door lock. The blanket was stained, and there was no floor towel, which made getting out of the toilet slippery. For me, it wasn't worth paying RM300/++.

A very cheap, clean hotel near the mosque.

The lobby didn't feel very warm or welcoming when I arrived, and the guest experience was average. Hotel Darulaman is in a convenient spot in Jitra town, with easy access to shops and local attractions, and it works for a short stay. The place feels dated, though, with old furniture and facilities that could use refurbishment. There are only limited facilities, and maintenance and upgrades would help improve the stay and the arrival experience. The location is strategic and nearby amenities are easy to reach. It's acceptable if you're after basic accommodation, but the facilities and hospitality could be better.
