Wouldn't recommend it. The rooms are very dirty, with cockroaches and bedsheets marked with blood and mud stains. It's also a long way from the city.

The room is incredibly small, not really convenient for more than one person. As soon as you enter, there's a bad smell, especially in the toilet, whose walls are very dirty and seem never to get cleaned. There's also no paip on the toilet bowl to make things easier.

The staff are kind and friendly, and the room is cheap, though small. The pillow is flat, and the toilet smells, maybe because it's an old building. Bring your own toiletries and drinks. Other guests bang their doors shut at night, so it's noisy. Hope it's not paranormal.

That morning shift receptionist, a Malay guy who helped me between 26 and 28 November 2023, was professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. I regret not asking his name, but I hope he gets considered for promotion. I stayed a couple of weeks ago and appreciated the hospitality, though the bathroom issues really affected my visit. In room 109, the toilet had a persistent unpleasant smell that continued throughout my stay despite attempts to deal with it. Please have the bathroom attendant look into this. Also, the shower holder needs repair so it can't cause an accident while guests are bathing. If it isn't safe, the room should be kept out of service until it is.
