The room smelled, and the bedsheet had dirt stains, though the bed itself was comfortable. The air conditioning seemed well maintained, and there was a heater too. How acceptable the hygiene is probably depends on your own tolerance.

The location is easy to find, and the main entrance looks nice. For the price of a 3 or 4-star hotel, though, some things need attention: the shower pump is old, a bulb wasn’t working, the door lock should be upgraded, and there’s no clothes hanger or cupboard. The bedroom furniture and decor could use some work, and a doorbell at the entrance would be nice, haha. The staff only smiled at us, so the hospitality was lacking. The fridge had started to smell from not being used for a long time. Still, I reckon it’s cleaner than most other 3 or 4-star hotels. Keep it up.

It’s close to Spectrum One Mall Ampang and a 24-hour mamak. If you book, I’d avoid the standard room, the cheapest option. Both rooms we booked were very dirty, and the bedsheets and towels were black, which freaked me out. The premium or deluxe room was much better for just Rm5-Rm10 extra, as I remember. There was no hair dryer, toothbrush or toothpaste, but at least the sheets and towels looked white. It’s a budget hotel, so don’t expect too much. I used an OYO discount code from shopee, which was 60% off and brought the price below Rm50 per night. I wouldn’t really recommend the place. If you have no other choice, then stay here.

For a reasonable price, you get a clean hotel room. It’s in a convenient spot, about a 5-minute walk from Spectrum mall, restaurants, fast food places, petrol stations, banks, and public transport including the LRT, buses, taxis and Grab car.
